So proud to be working with Saretta Fielding, putting her fabrics on my jewellery.

Saretta Fielding is a Wonaruah woman, born into the Wonaruah nation of the Hunter Valley NSW. Enjoyed the benefit of growing up within a large and close knit extended family with much of her work influenced by family connection, relationships and country.

Reflective in style to many traditional engraved artworks found throughout the Hunter Region and Wonaruah country, Saretta’s artworks are connected to country in style and design through the use of a sand based medium.  The highly textured pieces embody the age old sandstone engraved artworks created by our ancestors and add a whole new dimension to the works.

Saretta is a contemporary artist with a love for her culture and people that visually communicates this message within her works. Her aim is to capture the viewer, evoke emotion, enhancing connection to spirit, each other and country, inviting the viewer to ponder and experience something new.
